When I hit the snooze button for the second time this morning, I knew that getting out the door on time for work would be a challenge and a rush. As I was scrambling around, running late, feeling tense and stressed, my Parents’ words echoed in my head, “Keep Moving!”
When we were kids and we’d get up late for school, we’d panic. And that panic lead us to freeze in our tracks. One or both Parents would always say, “Keep moving!” In other words, don’t stand there frozen in panic; unfreeze and do what you have to do to get ready for school. Wise and true!
Today, there’s no telling how I managed to make the bed, shower, get dressed, put on makeup, eat breakfast, brush my teeth, pack lunch and get out the door. I did somehow manage to do everything I needed to do and still make it to work on time. I’m telling you, remembering that slogan helped!
So remember, if you’re ever running late, in a rut, feeling low, stuck in slow, just “Keep Moving!”
